On August 1, 2026, Study in Malaysia 2026 was held at Caravelle Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together education authorities, universities, students, parents, and business representatives interested in educational, training, and workforce development opportunities between Vietnam and Malaysia.

The event was jointly organized by the Consulate General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, Education Malaysia Ho Chi Minh City, and YB Investment.

Beyond providing practical information about Malaysia’s education system, the event created a platform for direct engagement among educational institutions, prospective students, families, and the business communities of both countries.

Strengthening Education Connections Between Vietnam and Malaysia

Study in Malaysia 2026 offered Vietnamese students and parents an opportunity to explore academic programs, learning environments, and development pathways available at Malaysian universities and educational institutions.

With the participation of numerous universities and training organizations, attendees were able to access information directly, discuss their individual needs, and identify study programs aligned with their academic and career objectives.

The event also went beyond conventional study-abroad consultation. It aimed to promote broader cooperation among schools, universities, and educational organizations in Vietnam and Malaysia.

Through student exchange programs, academic partnerships, and joint training initiatives, both countries can expand international learning opportunities while contributing to the development of a more capable and globally competitive workforce.

During the event, Mr. Yu Si Heng, representing YB Investment, delivered a presentation introducing the company and its “Hub & Gateway” model.

The presentation highlighted YB Investment’s role as a connection hub linking Vietnam with international education and training partners. The model focuses on three key stakeholder groups in Vietnam:

  • Parents, students, and prospective learners;
  • Local schools, universities, and educational institutions;
  • FDI enterprises, factories, and businesses.

Through its international partner network, YB Investment connects students with relevant training and education opportunities, supports cooperation between Vietnamese and overseas educational institutions, and facilitates engagement with strategic international partners.

For schools and universities, the model supports practical forms of cooperation such as student exchanges, academic program exchanges, and international pathway programs, including 2+2 and 3+1 models.

Connecting Education with the Workforce Needs of FDI Enterprises

A key focus of YB Investment’s presentation was the connection between education and the actual workforce needs of businesses.

As FDI enterprises continue to expand their operations in Vietnam, demand is growing for employees with strong professional knowledge, foreign-language skills, and the ability to work effectively in international environments.

YB Investment aims to connect businesses with suitable universities, training centers, and education partners to support:

  • Employee training and professional development;
  • Improvement of technical, language, and international workplace skills;
  • Access to high-quality human resources;
  • Recruitment of candidates aligned with operational requirements.

Through this approach, education is positioned not only as a pathway for overseas study but also as an important component of workforce development, knowledge transfer, and long-term business competitiveness.

Reinforcing YB Investment’s Role as an International Connection Hub

YB Investment’s participation as a co-organizer of Study in Malaysia 2026 reflects its commitment to building stronger connections among education, business, and international human resources.

Through its network in Vietnam and overseas, YB Investment is developing an integrated ecosystem in which students and parents can access suitable education opportunities, institutions can establish international partnerships, and businesses can identify effective solutions for workforce training and recruitment.

The event marked another meaningful step in strengthening educational cooperation between Vietnam and Malaysia. It also reinforced YB Investment’s position as a “Hub & Gateway” connecting Vietnam with international education, training, and business opportunities.
